Covenant HealthCare Foundation takes great pride in offering students the opportunity to apply for scholarships to further their education.  Over the past 11 years, the Foundation has granted over $225,000 in scholarship money through the High School Scholarship program, Nursing scholarships, and the Zeile awards.  A formal presentation of the scholarships are made at the Foundation's Traditions Reception in May of each year.  https://www.covenanthealthcare.com/ch/foundationscholarships 


Sartori Memorial Hospital Auxiliary

will offer scholarships to students planning a healthcare career.  Qualified applicants must be graduating high-school students planning to pursue an career in a health-related program (such as a medical or dental curriculum (including pre-med and pre-dental), nursing, dental hygiene, medical/clinical laboratory technology, dental technology, radiology technology, medical transcription, health information technology, medical office services, surgical technology, ultrasound technology, pharmacy, respiratory therapy and physical therapy) or post-secondary students currently enrolled in a health-related program.  Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or better, show evidence of financial need, citizenship, and be from Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Benton, Tama, Gundy or Butler County.  See www.wheatoniowa.org for application or stop in Counselor’s office.  


MercyOne Waterloo/Cedar Falls Foundation

Regional Medical Center Auxiliary

IHERF Health Care Career Scholarship

Deadline December 1. 

Will award 60 scholarships of up to $7,000 ($3,500 per year for up to two years) through the Health Care Careers Scholarship program for students seeking health care eduction or training. In exchange, each $3,500 recipient must commit to working one year in an Iowa hospital for each year of the scholarship aware.
