Eagle Pass ISD Homeschool Information
Home schooling is a valid option for families who wish to educate their children at home. In Texas, a home-schooled student is not required to follow compulsory attendance laws if they are pursuing a curriculum in good faith. This curriculum can include books, workbooks, written materials, or electronic resources. The program should be designed to teach basic education goals, including reading, spelling, grammar, math, and good citizenship.
Please note that the State of Texas does not issue a high school diploma for home-schooled students.
