The Central Library of Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Innovation, Varale was established in the year 2014. Since then library has made consistent progress in terms of collection of books, periodicals, CDs, E resources, services and Infrastructure provided. At present the library is enriched with 5122 Books Volume, 1358 Books Title ,National journal 14, International Journal 08, newspapers 03, The library is also connected with the internet facility.

Vision
The vision of the library is to support its readers by providing seamless access to a broad spectrum of information resources, including digital content, online databases, and both print and non-print materials, tailored to meet the curricular, informational, and innovative research needs of the academic community.
Mission
1)The mission is to empower college students and teachers by providing the information and resources they need to reach their highest academic potential and develop essential research skills for lifelong learning.
2)Additionally, the library aims to support teaching faculty and administrative staff while fostering interactive information exchange within the broader library and educational community.
Objectives
1) To develop the collection of the library by acquiring books and Periodicals in print as well as in digital format.
2) To serve the clientele of dyp irrespective of caste and class.
3) To develop the habit of self-learning and lifelong learning
