Week 1 8/20-8/23 Introduction
Week 1 ending 8/23/19
Tuesday 8/20
I will introduce the course and expectations.
What does it mean to be human? We will define anatomy and physiology.
Wednesday 8/21
School safety and Lab safety will be discussed. Students will sign a lab safety contract. Students will be assigned a body part to research in small groups and describe the relationship between its structure and function.
Thursday 8/22
We will discuss the course syllabus. Students will complete research and begin presentations.
Friday 8/23
We will complete presentations if needed and then we will begin our discussion of levels of organization, characteristics of life and maintenance of life.
