About Mrs. Swanson

My name is Jamee Swanson and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. My husband and I were born and raised in this community and own Brainstorm Computers Inc. here in town. We have two daughters that both graduated from Chesterton High School and are currently attending Indiana University.   I graduated from Ball State University with degrees in Early Childhood Education, Kindergarten-Primary and Elementary Education and completed my Masters Degree at Indiana Wesleyan University.   During my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family.  I can also be found cheering on IU and the Cubs. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great school year.
