Band (6th Grade)

Welcome to Band! This first year of band is a very exciting one. The progress your students will make this year will amaze you! It is very important for your students to be not only learning at school but progressing at home as well. Everyone can be involved in this process. This year we are using the Essential Elements Interactive book. With this book website I will be sending home assignments and will be using the wonderful video and mp3 resources to help you and your students as a tool. As well the students are learning a lot of this information for the first time, and the Essential Elements book is very self-explanatory which is great for both you and your students to learn on!

Concert Schedule:

Attached below is the syllabus packet that was handed out on the first day of class if you need to review it or if your student needs a new copy.

Students need to be at the school at 6:15p and concerts will begin at 7pm.
