I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Planning at Dalhousie University, Halifax. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Dalhousie University, Canada. Prior to that, I completed an MSc in Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh.
Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor (2013–2016, 2019) and Lecturer (2010–2013) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh.
I am a researcher in spatial data systems and analytics, with a main focus on spatial databases and spatio-temporal predictive analytics. My current work centers on developing machine learning and deep learning methods for spatio-temporal modeling, as well as enhancing big spatial databases through the design and implementation of efficient spatial features.
