Biography
Biography
I am a clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults navigating challenges related to attention, organization, performance, and relationships, particularly in demanding academic and professional settings.
I have spent over a decade working in student and resident mental health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where I serve as Director of Assessment. In this role, I provide psychological assessment and therapy for graduate students and medical residents, with a focus on attention, executive functioning, and performance in high-pressure environments.
My clinical work includes individual therapy and leading many ADHD skills groups, working with adults on the challenges of focus and organization. This experience has informed a practical understanding of how these difficulties show up in real-world academic and work settings.
I've written for The Conversation about strategies for managing inattention. I've been quoted in BBC Science Focus Magazine about improving focus and limiting distractions, as well as in Law Week Colorado about providing onsite psychotherapy at a top-tier law firm.
I received my BA from Princeton University and my master's and doctorate from the University of Denver.
I bring this background into my clinical work by helping people understand what's been getting in the way so that they can develop more effective approaches to work, relationships, and life in general.
