My name is Jessica McKinnen and I love teaching 3rd grade at CPE. We have awesome students, fantastic parents, and an amazing staff. 

    I grew up in the Rogue Valley and graduated from North Medford High School. My love of science led me to earn my Bachelors of Science degree in biology, with minors in geology and chemistry, from Southern Oregon University. After having my children, volunteering in their classrooms, and working as an educational assistant in the Central Point School District, I developed the desire to go back to school and obtained my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University.

    My husband, Shane, and I are blessed to each have a son and daughter in the Central Point School District. Tristan is a junior and Keven is a senior at Crater. Kayla and Jorden are 2019 Crater graduates. Kayla is a senior majoring in biology at OSU. Jorden is a Jackson County Court Clerk and her husband, David (a 2018 Crater graduate), is a Medford Police Officer. In our free time, we enjoy spending time outdoors, including camping, boating, hiking, paddle boarding, and road trips.
