About Me

    My name is Chad Hamerlinck. This is my 31st year here at Cambridge Elementary School. I started teaching 5th grade in 1996. After teaching 5th for three years, I looped (kept the same class I had the year before) to 6th grade. I taught 6th grade for six years. I am now in my 22nd year of teaching 2nd grade. 

    I am a big volleyball fan, and am a former volleyball coach and official. Now I spend my time in the gyms watching my niece and nephew play their respective sports of volleyball and basketball. In the spring, my niece plays softball and my nephew plays baseball. I enjoy supporting them in these activities. I also enjoy hiking, walking, biking, and antique shopping. I purchased my first home the spring of 2015, so I spend a lot of my "free time" working on home improvements. 

    I am excited to be working with all of you this school year!
