Introduction to 7th grade Social Studies & Literature Classes 

All assignments will be posted on google classroom daily. The standards being addressed throughout each unit of study and the proficiency scales are also posted in google classroom

In Social Studies, we will be studying early American History 

through the Civil War. 

Students will engage in geographic assignments and current event activities.

Literature classes will be reading five novels this year: A Long Walk to Water, The Giver, Life As We Knew It, A Chrsitmas Carol, and Trouble Don't Last. With each novel, we will be completing a variety of engaging assignments that will challenge the students and help them become 

better readers & writers.
