Who is Mrs. Sciacca?

                       A Bit About Me: 

 I am a proud graduate of Fenwick High School in Oak Park (graduated in 2001 if you're up for a math challenge and from there I headed off to NEIU to receive my degree in Elementary Education.  As soon as I graduated, I started right with my first master's degree, which was in Curriculum and Instruction through Concordia University.  A few years later I went back to school and completed another master's degree in Differentiation & Technology from University of St. Francis.  I have been in District 58 for 18 years with experience teaching 6th, 3rd and 4th grades.  This is my 10th year at Lester teaching 4th.  

When I am not teaching, planning, grading or learning (I LOVE to learn), I am spending time with my family. I have 3 kids; Liam, who is 11 and in 6th grade.  My daughter Lennox is 9 and in 4th grade (just like me!) and my spunky, sassy, 6 year old, Scarlett is now a big 1st grader!  They all attend St. Joan of Arc School in Lisle. 

Of course, our home wouldn't be complete without our 4 year old labradoodle, Charger. He can be naughty sometimes, but I can't imagine life without him!

This was a busy, but great summer for me.  As soon as last school year ended, I began packing up and moved from Lisle to Naperville.  While it is a little farther from Lester now, I love my new house and neighborhood!
