Here I'm riding in a small boat off the northern Atlantic coast of Honduras with my exchange sister's family. We were staying in the coastal town of Tela.

Here we are driving through the arid pine tree covered mountains of central Honduras on our way home from Tela- on the northern Atlantic coast- to Tegucigalpa- the capital.

One of the mountain passes that we went through on the bus going from the coast of Guayaquil, Ecuador to the city of Cuenca in the Andes Mountains. The bus was sitting at about 12,000 ft elevation on the road.

We didn´t get to go to the Galapagos Islands, but we saw a Galapagos tortoise that was brought over from the islands 70 years earlier. It wasn't illegal to do so yet and the tortoise has been living at the school on the coast ever since. His name is Miguelito.

This is Senator´s Wash off the Colorado River on the California/Arizona state line. We love to go here in the summer to swim, bar-b-que and ride wave runners.
