Unit Goals

These are the goals for our AFJROTC unit.  It is imperative that all cadets are familiar with these goals. As cadets in La Quinta High School AFJROTC, we are responsible for achieving the goals by the end of the school year. 

Unit Goals (2023 - 2024)

A minimum of one goal is required in each section. CA-951 prefers at least two.

Cadet Impact Goals

1. Increase LDR team opportunities to a minimum of 7 LDRs increasing cadet LDR participation rates by 10%.

2. Establish a Kitty Hawk Honors Society organization with a cadet tutoring emphasis to increase academic proficiency resulting in a 10% increase in cadets eligible for the Academic ribbon.

School Impact Goals (include 1 Recruiting Goal)

  1. Visit all district middle schools a minimum of once per semester with presentations and an introduction to AFJROTC opportunities for rising freshmen increasing AFJROTC Program awareness to 90% of rising Freshmen.

  2.Improve the CA-951 web-page and bulletin board in the counseling office to include descriptions of all available LDR teams as well as benefits of joining JROTC increasing school awareness of the AFJROTC Program increasing JROTC inquiries to counseling office by 10% (12 inquiries 2022-23)

Community Impact Goals

1.Increase the number of community service opportunities open to the entire cadet corps and utilize google surveys to make event sign up easier increasing cadet community service hours by 10%.

2.Increasing the minimum community service hours goal from 12 hrs per cadet to 15 hrs per cadet resulting in a 10% increase in total community service hours for the cadet corps.
