Area Enclosure
Area enclosure games involve players trying to position pieces in such a way to surround the most amount of space on the board. In My First Carcassonne, players are working to make sure their kids are on the road segments they're trying to complete. By ensuring that either they have the majority or even all of the spaces on that road, when the road completes, they'll earn the points for that road.
