Over the course of three ages, players will select cards from the central area into their civilization. Players may have to pay for some buildings, but if they have purchased the right building before, their new ones may be free. As their civilization grows, they can begin to build some of the ancient wonders of the world. The game ends at the end of the third age, unless one player manages a scientific or military victory before that time arrives.
