In the state of New Jersey students are required to take Financial Literacy courses.

Ever-Fi is an online program designed to help students begin to develop important fiscal knowledge, habits, and skills that must be mastered in order for them to make informed decisions about personal finance. Financial literacy is an integral component of a student's college and career readiness, enabling students to achieve fulfilling, financially-secure, and successful careers.

Students are assigned particular courses based on their grade level that meet the state requirements for Financial Literacy. 

Ever-Fi lessons are assigned each marking period and students will complete these courses in class. At the end of the marking period, their grade will be entered in Genesis as a test grade.
