Beginning Band is open to students in 4th grade. Every musician will receive one group lesson, as well as one full band rehearsal every FRIDAY.
Beginning Band typically performs in two concerts a year; their own special concert in February and the Spring Concert in late May or June
Instrument sign-ups happen in early September with lessons typically starting late September. Instrument rentals are through David French Music. Please contact Mrs. Briggs (mbriggs@dedhamschool.net) if you have questions about instruments or the band program
Instruments include: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion

Flute Lessons 8:45-9:15
Woodwind/Brass Lessons 9:15-9:45
Starting in December/January, the beginning band schedule will change to:
Flute Lessons 8:30-8:50
Woodwind/Brass Lessons 8:50-9:10
Full Band Rehearsal 9:10-9:45
