Valerie Fincher - 7th Grade Counselor
Welcome back 7th graders! I am so excited to see you again! I look forward to connecting with new students as you begin the journey through middle school and reconnecting with those who are returning. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and families. I love middle school and I am happy to provide support to students throughout their time at CiMS; I am a resource for both parents and students. Please stop by and introduce yourself!
I grew up in California where I loved being near the beach. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in psychology from Cal State Fullerton and taught at a non public high school there for 7 years. I moved to Colorado in 2005 when my husband opened a business here so that we would have more family time together. At that time, I went back to school at University of Phoenix for my masters in counseling because my passion is working with kids. I enjoy swimming, biking, and time with my family. Both of my girls are now in college.
If you have any questions, I can be reached at 720-433-1339 or vcfincher@dcsdk12.org.

Jill Bull - Group Counselor
Welcome. It was an honor and a pleasure to serve on the planning team for Cimarron Middle School. I will be working with groups.
I grew up in Chicago and attended Illinois State University my first two years of college. Skiing and sunshine brought me to Colorado where I completed my undergraduate degree in education at the University of Northern Colorado. I taught fifth grade through eighth grade before pursuing a career as a counselor. I received my masters in counseling from the University of Phoenix.
After beginning my teaching career as a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Franktown Elementary School, I opened Chaparral High School, Sierra Middle School, Legend High School, and Cimarron Middle School. My career highlight was being recognized as the Colorado Middle School Counselor of the Year.
I am here as a resource for you and your student. I encourage you to stop by, call, or email me if you have any questions.
You may reach me at 720-433-1357 or jkbull@dcsdk12.org.
