Chapter 1 - Sky Mountain 

 Students will learn python code through a story line in a game format.  The final product will be to produce a working game with various parts. The focus is to learn how to navigate through the software and place items inside the game platform.

This will be approximately a two week unit.

Chapter 2 - Moon Dancer will be offered as a rotation during the PITSCO Expedition phase.  Here students will continue their learning of Python by creating a story using Variables,

The rotations will last approximately 10-12 days.

Minecraft Education prepares students for the future workplace by helping build skills like collaboration, creative problem-solving, communication, and systems thinking. In this program students will use the Code Builder to actually do the behind the scenes 'coding', not just play the game.

This too will be a small unit of 5-10 days depending upon the class learning curve.  Achieving each of the various lessons within the chosen pathway will serve as their final product.
