Mrs. Lund

Hi, my name is Deborah (Deb) Lund and I am the Speech Language Pathologist for Sierra Middle School.  I am originally from Hawaii but moved to Colorado 30 years ago and call Colorado home now.  My family and I love the people, culture, and landscapes here in Colorado. 

I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Hawaii and my Master's Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  I have worked with children and adults in health care, home and school settings and enjoy working with people of all ages.  

I currently work with students with speech, language and learning disabilities.  I take pride and joy in helping them learn effective ways to communicate verbally and nonverbally, in academic and social settings.  I love to watch students progress and develop as they learn to use their cognitive and language reasoning skills and multiple modalities to process information. They gain the ability to comprehend academic content and social cues and express their knowledge and opinions, while appreciating the perspectives of others around them.
