Grading Policy
Grades will be divided into two categories in Middle School, Work Habits and Content Knowledge. Below is a description of what your student will be graded on for each category.
Content Knowledge: Content Knowledge is the grading of Social Studies content and information taught in class. Students will be assessed on their knowledge of cultural, economical, political, and social practices around our world. I will assess their knowledge various ways through tests, quizzes, essays, and projects.
Work Habits: Work Habits grades focus on Personal Responsibility and Productivity throughout the year. Students will get a grade for both Personal Responsibility and Productivity each week and comments will be provided in the comments section for missing assignments, behavior problems, etc.... Below you will find what each teacher will be looking for in Personal Responsibility and Productivity throughout the year.
