2021 - 2022 Art Supplies

Art Supplies needed for Sculpture and Paint & Draw class. Sketchbook, pencils, wet wipes (container or package). A sketchbook that is wire bound or hard bound will last longer. We will use the sketchbook everyday. Pencils are needed every day as well. Wood pencils should be used for students in the Paint & Draw class. Wet wipes are for the classroom. Both sculpture and Paint & draw are messy. This makes cleaning easier and sanitizes tables as well. Please provide at least one for the classroom. I always have a couple containers out for students to use every day.

New: Google Classroom Codes: Paint & Draw: Sculpture:

What will we do in art class in 2020.

Paint & Draw

Students will come to art class two times each week. On those days, I will introduce new units, demonstrate new skills and techniques. This is a time for the teacher to show students how to do their projects. The remote learning days when students are at home, is the time for students to start their assignments, rough drafts and projects.

Sculpture

Students will come to class two times each week. On those days, students will be introduced to new units. I will show examples, teach techniques and skills along with demonstrating. Students will do most of the work while in class. When students are at home, they will complete homework assignments, do rough drafts and possibly work on projects.

100% Online Learning:

Paint & Draw: I am sending home bags with art supplies and papers for students to work on the art projects.

Sculpture: If we end up being 100% online, there will be assignment for students to work on. There will not be projects. Students and their families do not have the materials and tools needed to do sculpture.
