COVID-19 Pandemic Remote Learning

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a restful Spring Break and that this email finds you and your family safe and well. There are many things going on that we cannot control right now so let us find purpose in the things we can control. This will be a learning curve for everyone so please practice patience and diligence while we iron out the wrinkles of transferring online this first week. As you adjust to online learning, I encourage you to develop a routine during the weekdays as if you were in school (8am make bed/eat breakfast, 9am work on science, 10am go on walk, 11am work on English, 12pm lunch...). Bonus: when doing school work, ask your guardians if you can go to the bathroom but instead come back from the kitchen with a snack.

I will be posting everything to Google Classroom during this time period. There will be a variety of activities (videos, worksheets, virtual labs, short responses, papers and quizzes) that you will be asked to complete. Each week, everything is due Friday by 3:00pm. Please adhere to this deadline by beginning your work early in the week so you can ask me questions when you have them. I will be available throughout the work day via email or comments through Google Classroom— I will try to respond quickly but please understand sometimes responses could take a couple hours.

You all should be in Google Classroom already as we have been using all year, but just in case here are the codes:

Period 1: 4b1efa

Period 2 - xjzues

Period 3 -k1t32p
