Drama Club

Do you like to be silly? Do you love to play games and make arts&crafts? Do you want to socialize with other Drama kiddos?  Then Drama Club may be just the place for you!

No! Drama Club is different from our Productions (Fall Play/Spring Musical) - meaning these are two separate activities.

Nope! Drama Classes are separate from Drama Club - and both are separate from the Drama Productions! You can do all of them, one of them, or none of them - whatever works best for you and your schedule

Our first meeting of the year is  Friday, August 18, 2:50-5:00  - for this first meeting, there is  no signup - just come to the Drama Room after school, and I will give out the information about registration at that first meeting! Meetings are usually every other Friday, 2:50-5:00, and meetings are on a come-when-you-can basis. You can check the Weekly Newsletter, Theatre Calendar, and the bulletin board outside Ms. K's room to see if we have Drama Club that Friday! 

Nope! Ms. K trusts students to do what they need to do, be where they need to be, and leave when they need to leave.

Yes. Please register for Drama Club in My School Bucks. The cost per production is a Registration and $30 Activity Fee. If you qualify for Free and Reduced, your Activity Fee can be waived. Students can be involved in Drama Club without registering, but only registered students get "the perks" (a Drama Club shirt, reduced Junior Thespian Conference and 2nd Semester Lock-In Fees, ability to be inducted as Junior Thespians, and more throughout the year). 

If you decide to stick around and register, you will get a Drama Club shirt as part of your activity fee and membership (plus other perks as listed above)!
If you don't register, you are still welcome to attend meetings - you just won't get all of the perks. 

For the first meeting of each semester, you just show up - no sign up necessary! At that meeting, Ms. K will give out registration information, so if you choose to become a registered member (meaning you get a Drama Club shirt and other perks), you can do so during the month of August and January. At the end of the registration period, if you have not registered, you can still come to Drama Club and participate in most of the Drama Club activities - you just won't be an official/registered member.

Never! Students are always welcome to come to Drama Club, even if they are not registered members.

Registration opens in August (closes in September) and January (closes in February), and registered students get a shirt and other perks (discount on Jr ThesCon Registration, can participate in the Lock-In, etc)

Students who are not registered can still participate, they just won't get a shirt and will have to pay full price for Drama Club activities that cost to participate.
