Leadership Institute was established in 2009 to provide a comprehensive professional development program for leaders. This program focuses on leadership knowledge, skills, and tools development for leaders of all work groups. The cohort model is utilized to provide participants the opportunity to make leadership connections districtwide. Classes will be held during the workday at the Cantril Building in Castle Rock and will cover six different leadership classes. Included in the Institute is a 7 Habits 360 degree Benchmark administered before participants complete 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and again six months later. This is a 360-degree feedback tool that measures individual effectiveness and provides an action-oriented approach to personal development. Continuous Quality Improvement is project based and concludes Leadership Institute with participant's project presentation. For a full list of classes please view the schedule and class description pages of this site.

We invite all departments to participate. The criteria for participants and departments is as follows:

1. Participants should be on a leadership pathway.

2. Participants must be willing, motivated, and committed to learn and apply essential leadership knowledge, skills, and tools.

3. Participants and departments are expected to make attendance a top priority.
