About the Directors

Douglas Nelson Green has been the Director of Bands at MVHS since 2024, and has been working with the bands since 2015. He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, focusing on percussion. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and pups.

David Brax is currently working on his doctorate at UNC. He has been teaching at Mountain Vista and Mountain Ridge the past 2 years. He spends his free time hiking, mountain biking and generally taking in the sights of the mountains.
