About Me

Teaching first grade is my passion! This is my 13th year as a teacher at Copper Mesa but I have also been a parent as both my daughters attended school here. Speaking as a former parent as well as a teacher, Copper Mesa is an incredible place to be and l Iove being part of our incredible staff!

I have a master's in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington. My family moved to Highlands Ranch in 2005, however I grew up on the East Coast. I have three children, Nathan, Abby, and Emily, four granddogs and three grandcats. When I am not spending time with my family, I enjoy hiking, reading, photography, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with my dogs, Freyja and Frankie!
