About Me

My name is Jennifer Anson (as known as Ms. Anson or Ms. Jenn).  I am honored to be your child’s sixth grade teacher and part of the sixth grade team for my twelfth year. 

I am a midwest girl who grew up in Iowa where I attended the University of Northern Iowa earning my teaching degree. Following graduation I moved south to San Antonio, Texas where I taught for ten years at the elementary level. After ten years I was ready for a change, and Colorado was calling my name.  

When I'm not in the classroom, I definitely stay busy. You can find me working out, tutoring, cooking with organic ingredients, renovating a house in Boulder, connecting with friends, traveling to visit family, and exploring Colorado’s great outdoors with my partner and our fur babies.
