Hello!  I am so excited to teach as well as learn from you this year.  I love science, and I hope you will too.  This is my 28th year of teaching in Douglas County, and my 4th year at Cresthill.  I have spent half of my teaching career in elementary school teaching 6th grade, but I am thrilled to now be in the middle school environment.  While hard work is certainly a hallmark of my teaching style and the learning environment in my classroom, I also strive to inject humor, silliness, fun, enthusiasm and play into the learning process.  I believe that it is possible to learn more when we are fully engaged and enjoying the process!

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and a Masters in Teaching and Learning from Regis University.

I have lived in Parker for 27 years with my 21-year-old daughter who just graduated from college.  I enjoy reading, swimming, golfing, and attending Broncos games.
