SPANISH 1A

1A language courses are designed for students who have no previous experiences in foreign languages. Standards include communication (in the skill areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing) and culture, as students will be exposed to various aspects of the culture of the people(s) who speak the target language. Outside study is required; daily review outside of class enhances enjoyment and full understanding of the language, and is necessary in order to learn vocabulary and master skills necessary to become proficient in a second language.
