Earth's circumference is an amazing 24,901.55 miles in diameter. This amounts to 131,480, 184 feet if a person were to walk around the Earth once. Your challenge, if you accept, is to record the amount of steps that you walk in a week's time and share your distance with your academic team by completing this form.

Weekly tallies will be subject to random checks for verification. Let's see which team can make it around the world first AND THEN how many laps around the world can each team complete before May 1st , 2021!!

The final count will take place on May 1st, 2021. Time to get your step on!!

TRUE NORTH

A successful journey starts with your attitude. Resolve this school year not to sabotage your ambitions, self-confidence, and ideals with self-fulfilling pessimism and cynicism. Don’t undermine your happiness or success with negativity. Stop wasting time and energy complaining, condemning, resenting, regretting, and worrying about things that are outside of our sphere of control. Replace griping with gratitude. Make a conscious effort daily to approach every problem and opportunity with positive energy, enthusiasm, optimism, and even self-conscious joy. Commit to doing the right things every day even when it costs you more than you want to pay.
