I have worked at Coyote Creek BASE since August of 2005, at the age of 16, where I started as a program aid. I then went on to become a program leader and eventually worked my way up to assistant manager. Since the very beginning, I've had a strong passion for children. I believe children are our future and my hope is that our future shines bright because of the impact I've made in the lives of these children. In my free time, I enjoy working out, traveling, camping, spending time with my family, and creating new adventures with my husband Brian. In May of 2023, we had our first child, a son we named Walker. He is our IVF miracle and the absolute light of my life!

I am a mom of two beautiful children and I am working towards also having my own business to make sure I can provide for my family, be motivational, and be present in their lives. My first job was at an elementary school when I was 16, and it really gave me the start to my life. I love photography, design, party planning, and more, but I knew my passion was for working with children. I want to do as much as possible to help children and be a support system, as well as a fun person for them to be around. As much as we hope they learn from us, it's important to know we can learn from them as well. They are the future and deserve to be given all the tools to not only be successful, but kind and happy people. I believe that anyone deciding to bring themselves into a child's life in any way, they do their best to create a safe space for the children and communicate with family and teachers, to make sure we are a support system for them.
I am a native of Colorado with great admiration for our incredibly beautiful state. I have been happily married to Tim since 1986 and we are blessed with our two children: Michael and Maggie. In my free time I enjoy working out and playing the guitar. However, the most important aspect of my life is my work with your children. I have been in child care with Douglas County since April 2002 and have loved every minute of it. The wonderful children I have been blessed with over the years are the reason I get up every morning. I feel so fortunate that I have been given the opportunity to do what I do best every day: love and care for children. I plan to continue to work with them for a very long time. They are such a gift and I feel honored that you share them with me. I can't imagine what my life would be without them
To quote Mr. Rogers, someone who loved children as much as I do "It's not so much what we have in this life that matters, It's what we do with what we have." My gift is to love and care for children. My goal is to make a difference in their lives
