As I see 6th graders develop in character, mature in wisdom, and grapple with complex science concepts, it really motivates me to teach! I am excited about the opportunities to build relationships with each and every parent/student on the 6th grade Morgan team.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Colorado Christian University in 1998. Then in 2003, before my twin sons were born, I received a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University.
I am currently in my 27th year of teaching! The first five years of my teaching career were spent teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade in Christian schools in Cheyenne, WY, and Littleton, CO. For the next 11 years, I taught 5th and 6th grade at Pioneer Elementary School, one of Cimarron's feeder schools. This is my eleventh year here at Cimarron Middle School!
My wife, Kristi, and I have twin, sixteen-year-old boys named Josiah and David. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, taking family vacations, watching/listening to baseball games, spending time with my McCarroll Bible Church family, or just hanging out at home.
