We use the ¡Qué Chévere! level 3 series.
We cover units 1-5A in the fall semester, and 5B-9 in the spring, with additional grammar with additional skills development and projects not included in the regular curriculum.
Students purchase a Workbook and Grammar & Vocabulary book. Lost books will need to be repurchased.
Classroom sets of textbooks are used in class. Students are responsible for any damage done to books while in their custody. Any existing damage a student sees in a book (writing, marks, tears etc.) should be reported upon discovery so that the responsible party can be identified correctly.
ONLINE TRANSLATION POLICY
Use of online translation is not advised. It diverts students from practicing and learning vocab and grammar concepts studied in class AND provides a deeply flawed translation. Use of translation is easily spotted because it contains little or no classroom concepts, and contains lots of errors. This will negatively impact the students grade, and may result in no credit for the assignment because it is not a product of the student.
Students are encouraged to use notes and vocab lists provided in class to look up words.
