Late/Incomplete Work

Work not turned in by the assigned date is considered late.  Work habits grades will be greatly affected by late and/or incomplete work.

Late work will be accepted up to 2 weeks after the assigned due date. Once the 2 week time period has passed, the assignment will turn to a 0 in the grade-book.

Absent Policy

When a student is absent they have one day for every day absent, plus one extra day to complete work.

Students are expected to check website calendars and Google Classroom to know what they missed before coming back to school. Students are responsible for making up their missing work/communicating with their teachers.

If a student misses a quiz or test, it is the students responsibility to email their teacher to schedule a time to make it up.

Oftentimes a 'missing' (M) will be entered into the grade-book as a placeholder until the assignment has been turned in!

Technology

In class:

Cell phones are not to be seen or heard.

Phones will be turned off or on airplane mode during class (unless otherwise directed by the teacher).

If there is a cell phone violation, the CiMS Cell Phone policy will apply.

In hallway/commons area:

Cell phones and headphones/earbuds/earpods are not to be seen or heard.

No pictures, videos, etc. may be taken and/or posted while inside the school/during school hours.

If there is a cell phone violation, the CiMS Cell Phone Policy will apply.

Pod Computers/Computer Carts

School laptops will be available for students to use while at school. Students will grab and check out their computer from the cart with Mrs. Rademacher at the start of the class period and return it to the cart before leaving. Activity will be monitored to ensure technology is being used appropriately.

Students are highly encouraged to use their personal device at school. Please note that if using your own technology on school property, all school technology rules apply.
