I am so excited to be part of the Cougar family. This is my 23rd year teaching and my fourth year at Cornatzer.

I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grade for twenty years. I have taught at Mocksville Elementary School, William R. Davie, and Cornatzer Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Elementary Education from King University and a Masters in Instructional Media from Appalachian State University. I will graduate in December with a Masters in Library and Information Science from Appalachian State University.

I live in Davie County. I have been married to my husband Barry for 30 years and we have 4 children. Emma graduated from NC State and is a PhD student at UNC Chapel Hill. Hannah graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with both her undergraduate degree and a Masters Degree in Urban Planning. Noah is a senior at NC State. Abigail is a junior at Davie County High School.
