Keyboarding & Word Processing
In Keyboarding and Word Processing students learn the "Touch Typing Technique"
After they have completed all lessons, students get grades on their Net Speed and Accuracy. (See grading charts around the room)
Students are required to learn the "Touch Typing" method of keyboarding. This requires that they type based upon touch (not looking at their fingers). They go through lessons everyday to learn this skill. During this time they are required to reach a minimum speed and accuracy for each to pass the lesson, while demonstrating proper keyboarding technique.
