Supply List 2021-2022

Dear Third Grader,

Welcome to 3S! I am very excited to have you in my class this year! I hope you are having a wonderful summer! I am looking forward to all the interesting things that we will learn together in third grade. We will be reading many exciting books, while developing the strategies we need to read for meaning! We will be writing many interesting stories and learning how to develop our writing with expression and details. In science, we will be learning about animals and how they adapt, forces of motion and much more. We will also learn how to multiply and divide in math!

Below I have listed the supplies you will need to bring with you on the first day of school:

A book you have enjoyed reading this summer

Two recent pictures of yourself

24 No. 2 pencils

10 pencil top erasers or 3 larger erasers

1 white board eraser

8 dry erase markers

1 black marble composition notebook

1 highlighter

2 ultra fine tip Sharpie markers

A pocket folder of your choice

6 packets of 3x3 Post-it Notes

2 large Glue Sticks

2 colored pens

1 pair of scissors

1 small pencil case

1 box of colored pencils

2 Face Masks, in addition to the one you will be wearing - you may want to change your mask after lunch and also you need to have a spare mask, just in case...I will be having an extra for myself too!

Each day we will have a snack together so please bring a snack each day, please no nuts.
