2023-2024 PE Goals
Our Physical Education Department goal for the 2023 - 2024 school year is to improve the muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance of our students. We are tracking the improvement in these areas based on students' performances on the Connecticut Physical Fitness Assessment. The time dedicated in P.E. to improve these areas is not enough to allow the students to experience maximum success. Working on improving these areas of fitness at home will help the students succeed. Parental involvement and participation with your child may help motivate them to work towards success. Below we have provided a few exercise/ activity ideas that may help improve cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength and endurance.
