About Me

I have enjoyed teaching here at Richland since January 2006.

This school year, 2024-2025,  I am teaching 7th Grade Life Science 

& 7th Grade Elective - STEM

My favorite subject in school has always been science, especially Biology.

I have 2 wonderful boys, Bill and Adam.

Bill is a graduate of Purdue University, earning a BS in Chemical Engineering,

and has an MBA from ISU.

Bill is married to the love of his life Kendra, an ISU graduate, 

who is a clinical  doctor of audiology. 

Together, they are entrepreneurs owning and managing 3 audiology clinics. 

They have one son, my grandson, Jack, one dog Kalisi, and 2 cats: Socks, and Finn.

Adam is a graduate of U of I, earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering

He also earned a Masters of Mechanical Engineering from IIT.

I have 2 awesome cats, Mischief and Midnight.  

They are siblings that were rescued from a stray cat. 

Mischief loves to be outdoors, while Midnight is a Diva 

and prefers to be in the comforts of the house. 

I enjoy teaching, coaching track, traveling, reading, camping, hiking and exploring on forest trails, cycling,  watching movies, gardening, baking, sewing, crocheting, 

most types of music  and just hanging out in my gazebo.
