End of Year Follow Up

May 13, 2019

Hi Jefferson Parents,

I have listed some ideas for summer activities. The related service providers also shared some great summer (or anytime) activity ideas. From the Social Worker. Please go to my website to see that information.

Here are more summer plan ideas that came out of our last Parent Group:

A Jefferson Whatsapp was started by Anna Miller (mother of Carter in PM class) last year, and we discussed how helpful this type of App is to connect our families. I do not know much about setting up a Whatsapp, but you can text her at 312.823.2466 and ask her to include you on the list. Let the other parents know when you will be at a park, playland, pool, library, etc. You never know when a friend will be looking for something to do too The Miller’s also live on the route for many of the parades in Park Ridge, including the upcoming Memorial Day Parade. They welcome any families who want to watch the parade from their yard. Please contact Anna for more information and their address.

Parents also mentioned that there are several fun 4th of July activities-

Park Ridge Park District 3rd of July Fireworks Celebration Event date: 7/3/2019 6:00 PM - 10:30 PM EXPORT EVENT Bring a picnic (no alcoholic beverages or grills allowed) and relax before the fireworks begin.
