Accommodations
Students are entitled to accommodations through an individualized education plan (IEP) or a section 504 plan. In addition, as a school building we have ensured that temporary or long-term medical needs are supported appropriately so that students are able to access the curriculum. If you have a question about accommodations for your child, please contact their case manager, school psychologist, or the Assistant Principal of Student Services.
If your student is entitled to accommodations and you feel that they are not being honored, please contact the Assistant Principal of Student Services, Sarah Anderson-Wolf.
College Board is the organization that oversees the SAT Suite of Assessments (PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, NMSQT, & SAT) as well as Advanced Placement Exams (AP). Students who have needs identified through an educational or medical evaluation are entitled to accommodations for these standardized examinations. If a student qualified for these accommodations, St. Charles North will apply for accommodations through the College Board after receiving parental or guardian consent. If additional documentation is needed for approval, the school will reach out the guardian/parent for more information.
