All Corron students not residing within the St. Charles Public Library district boundaries and not eligible for a public library card at another library (for example: Gail Borden Public Library) are eligible for a D303 student library card. Parents must opt in for a student card when they do online school registration. Please note that only students will be able to get a library card. Parents, or other family members, who do not attend school, are ineligible to receive a card. A D303 student library card will give students access to all of their e-books and e-resources.
Students who reside in the Gail Borden Public Library District are not eligible for a D303 student library card from the St. Charles Public Library. However, if a student has a library card from Gail Borden, s/he may use it as a reciprocal borrower at the St. Charles Public Library. A D303 student who is a reciprocal borrower may check out physical books, as well as join special library programs at the St. Charles Public Library (just mention you are a D303 student when you register). Reciprocal borrowers may not: place holds or reserves, use subscription databases or check out electronic books (e-books) at St. Charles Public Library.
