CLASSROOM GUIDELINES:
1. Be in your seat when the bell rings. If not, you will be marked tardy.
2. Cell phones are to be out of sight and silenced during class.
3. All books, book bags, and purses should be placed under your desk, not in the aisle or on your desk.
4. Respectfully listen to others when they are speaking.
5. Bring a pen or pencil, paper, and your Chromebook to class each day. Chromebooks should be charged prior to class.
6. Homework needs to be turned in on time. Homework will NOT be accepted late because it is no longer valuable.
7. Students are responsible to check Canvas or call another student for their homework. If you need to reach me directly, my phone number is 847-626-2672. You need to call before 3:30 if you would like a call back the same day. Otherwise, feel free to e-mail me at steakw@d219.org.
8. Students need to participate in class each day.
HOMEWORK/TEST GUIDELINES:
Handwriting must be legible. If I can not read it, it will be marked wrong.
Your name and class period must be at the top, right hand side of your paper.
If possible, please type your homework. Double space in Times New Roman, font size: 12.
Any copying from other students, books or internet, will result in a "0" for all parties involved. Parents will be notified. An academic dishonesty form will be processed.
Please re-read your work before you hand it in. You may catch a lot of careless mistakes.
Do your very best. Be proud of your work.
Tests MUST be made up the day after you return.
GRADING SCALE:
A- 90%-100%
B- 80%- 89%
C- 70%-79%
D- 60%-69%
F - 0%-59%
