Hello everyone!

Seminar for Scholars is going to have its first teach-in on November 3rd, periods 1 and 2. We will be meeting in the Principal's conference room, to discuss the subject: What is Religious Life? The reading is from the 2nd chapter of Emile Durkheim's classic text, The Elementary Forms of Religious Life.

Please pick up field trip forms from under Ms. Jaffe's name plate in her office (English Office 1190). There will be 10 copies of the reading on Ms. Jaffe's desk, I will also attach the reading to this email.

If you guys plan to participate Ms. Jaffe needs to hear from you by October 20, email her at tamjaf@d219.org.

At the meeting we will chose our next topic. Ms. Jaffe has some exciting people who are interested in coming in!
