The Observatory has a 15' rotating dome that encloses a pier on which sits our 10" Meade LX 200 telescope. The telescope's existence is due to a grant from Yerkes Observatory and ISBE and the Niles West PTSA.
The dome was made by Technical Innovations (Maryland). Donated by John Slater of Morton Grove, IL.
