The Center for Talent Development is currently hiring Technology Instructors for the Saturday Enrichment Program's eight-week Winter 2015 session to teach the following courses: Programming with Scratch (Grades 2-4), Design Studio: Cities in Minecraft (Grades 3-4), or Digital Storytelling (Grades 6-8). Instructors build a comfortable and rigorous learning environment for students in a gifted education classroom. Students in these courses will be working 1.5 – 2 years above grade level. Instructors are responsible for syllabus design and curriculum implementation with the support of SEP Staff. Experience with the above programs required.
We are also looking for qualified Teaching Assistants for a range of our technology courses, including Design Studio: MinecraftEdu(Grades 3-4), Programming with Scratch (Grades 2-4), Next Generation Robotics (Grades 5-6), Programming with Raspberry Pi(Grades 4-5), and Science, Engineering & Technology Honors (Grades 6-8). Experience using related technologies, interest in working with elementary and middle school children, and a willingness to assist the cooperating teacher required.
