Obtaining Your License

1. You will need your permit and Receipt.

2. Completed and signed 50 hour sheet

3. Eyeglasses or contacts if needed for the eye exam.

4. Proof of Insurance for the car you are using for the test.

5. You will need your Social Security Card

6. A Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate or valid passport (copies of such items

is NOT accepted).

7. Proof of residency. Students under the age of 18 can use the parent's driver's license/identification card and Certificate of Residency form (completed by the parent at the facility) or a bank statement as proof of residency.

8. Check License Status Inquiry to see if you are eligible to get your license before you go.

You must be accompanied by your parent(s) or legal guardian when getting your license.

You must have both copies of your permit with you when you drive. You must

practice driving with someone 21 years of age or older with a valid drivers license

for one year or more.
