Wellness, Fitness, and Movement Enrichment Course

Request for Proposals – Overview

The Heron Institute is seeking a contractor to create a 36-week asynchronous wellness and fitness

enrichment course for middle school (Grades 6–8). This course supports virtual learners with

age-appropriate movement, health habits, and accessible wellness activities.

PROJECT SCOPE

36 weekly activity plans
36 short instructional videos
36 check-in/reflection tasks
Modifications and safety notes
Organized into four 9-week units
LMS-ready course structure

OPTIONAL FUTURE PHASES

Contract may expand to three additional grade-band courses (K–2, 3–4, 5–6) following successful

completion.
